(2019) ARTAUD MARAT, a Roi Escudero performance-art vérité tale with Movement by Ioan Ardelean.

Inspired by the lucid madness of a beloved genius, Antonin Artaud.

Ioan Ardelean and Roi Escudero presented this work in progress version of ARTAUD MARAT in New York, in January at Tertulias 2019, at IATI Theatre. The audience loved it! In March we presented a private show of ARTAUD MARAT at The 13th Street Repertory, with Ioan Ardelean as ARTAUD, Roi Escudero as MADAME NEBUNIE La FOLIE, Mika Oyaizu as MADEMOISELLE RAISON d'être, and with the collaboration of Valentin Ewan, Jack Placidi and James Ewan. Since then we have continued developing the project in our Lab. We are happy to say that ARTAUD MARAT will be presented this winter at the FRIGID 2020, New York.
